Zomee

From $12M to $25M in eighteen months across retail and wholesale.

Zomee identity banner featuring the Zomee logo

Zomee makes breast pumps, most of their buyers are exhausted new parents searching at 3am, and most purchases run through insurance. So trust is everything, search intent is literally tied to a due date, and the funnel looks nothing like a normal DTC brand. I owned digital end to end, which meant everything from the strategy down to the web roadmap sat with me.

The technical SEO rebuild

When I got there the site was invisible for every term that mattered, so I rebuilt it from the crawl up. Technical audits, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema on everything, and content mapped to how parents actually search - which is not "breast pump features," it's which pump works with which insurance, what goes in the hospital bag, why week 38 feels nothing like week 20.

Organic traffic went up roughly 300% over that stretch, and the brand landed on page one for category terms Medela and Spectra had owned for years.

Paid media, email, and conversion

Google Ads ran on top of the organic base (Search, Shopping, remarketing tuned around insurance-eligibility intent), and email did the quiet heavy lifting - flows built around the pregnancy timeline itself, because a signup in week 20 needs completely different messages than one in week 38. The conversion work never really stopped either, between landing page tests, PDP cleanups, and checkout friction, and all of it was measured against revenue rather than clicks.

Wholesale partnerships and the acquisition

Retail was only ever half the business, so I built partnerships across the parenting and health space, backed the wholesale channel with real collateral and co-marketing, and leaned on relationships from a decade in the industry - some of which fed directly into the company's first successful acquisition and merger.

Brand, social, and press

Branding and social and PR were mine as well. Owning all of them at once is why the brand sounded the same in a press placement as it did on a product page, which is harder to hold together when separate teams own separate channels.
